About the Role

As a Backend Developer, you’ll be part of a high-stakes platform engineering team. You will design secure APIs and services that serve sensitive, high-traffic, regulated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure Java Spring Boot microservices
• Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database queries
• Integrate with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for event-driven architectures
• Deploy using containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes (Rancher)
• Collaborate in Agile teams with strong testing and documentation practices
• Implement business logic, data processing, and integration with third-party services.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT/OAuth2

Requirements

• 3+ years of Java Spring Boot development, RESTful API design, microservices, distributed system, message queueing/streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab CI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of secure API practices (OAuth2, JWT)
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia / Malaysia
• Willing to travel and work in hybrid mode
