About the Role
As a Backend Developer, you’ll be part of a high-stakes platform engineering team. You will design secure APIs and services that serve sensitive, high-traffic, regulated systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure Java Spring Boot microservices
- Design and optimize relational and NoSQL database queries
- Integrate with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for event-driven architectures
- Deploy using containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes (Rancher)
- Collaborate in Agile teams with strong testing and documentation practices
- Implement business logic, data processing, and integration with third-party services.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement authentication and authorization using JWT/OAuth2
Requirements
- 3+ years of Java Spring Boot development, RESTful API design, microservices, distributed system, message queueing/streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab CI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of secure API practices (OAuth2, JWT)
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia / Malaysia
- Willing to travel and work in hybrid mode
